Five Years with The Motivational Speakers Agency

Building Impact with the UK’s Biggest Organisations

For the past five years I’ve had the privilege of being represented by The Motivational Speakers Agency, one of the UK’s leading platforms for keynote speakers. It’s been a partnership that has opened the door to some of the largest organisations in the UK, and it has shaped my work as a motivational speaker, an inclusion consultant, and the Head of Inclusion at Champions UK PLC.

When I first joined the agency, I didn’t fully appreciate what it would mean to be part of a roster that supports thousands of events every year. Their network spans corporate leadership, diversity and inclusion, peak performance, resilience, technology, and the future of work. Being a speaker within that ecosystem pushed me to sharpen my craft, deepen my message, and stay ahead of the curve, especially as my work touches resilience, neurodiversity, and digital inclusion.

The Platform That Changed the Game

Working with the agency has meant collaborating with major UK organisations across industries that genuinely want to create better, more inclusive, more forward-thinking workplaces. My sessions have ranged from large conferences to intimate leadership retreats, but the mission has always been the same: to help people understand resilience and inclusion in a way that moves them from awareness to action.

I bring lived experience into every room. From waking up paralysed from the waist down, to rebuilding my life after CRPS, to working with assistive technology and adaptive systems daily, the story is real. But what matters is how it lands in organisations. Over five years, I’ve seen a real hunger for authenticity. People want more than a feel-good hour; they want honest insight that helps them rethink how they work, lead and support others.

Why This Partnership Has Mattered

Being on the books of The Motivational Speakers Agency has given me the chance to:
• Reach some of the UK’s biggest organisations and government bodies.
• Deliver keynotes that merge lived experience with actionable strategies.
• Champion inclusion, accessibility and neurodiversity as core business pillars.
• Showcase how technology and AI support adaptability in the modern workplace.
• Build stronger links between my speaking work and my consultancy at JM Consultancy.

Most importantly, it has reinforced why my story matters professionally. Resilience isn’t just something I talk about. It’s something I live daily. Organisations connect with that because it’s real, grounded, and applicable to teams, leaders and whole cultures.

Looking Ahead

As I head into the next phase of my career — with my book Get Back Up on the way and my documentary concept taking shape — this five-year milestone marks the beginning, not the end. I’m committed to helping UK organisations build cultures where inclusion is lived, not laminated. Where people feel supported, valued and able to thrive. Where resilience is a tool, not a buzzword.

Partnering with The Motivational Speakers Agency has helped me amplify that mission, and I’m excited to keep building on it for years to come.
