At the core of Jamie’s work is a deep commitment to promoting accessibility and inclusivity. He believes that a positive mindset and perseverance can overcome any obstacle. Jamie’s approach is defined by his dedication to living life outside the box and encouraging others to do the same. He believes that before we can really thrive we need to first know how to survive and that sits with many of his messages that its okay to fail, its okay to fall the challenge is always always always Get Back Up.

Jamie McAnsh is more than a motivational speaker; he is a role model and an advocate for change. His career highlights include:

  • Representing Wales in wheelchair rugby and achieving regional success in wheelchair basketball.
  • Handcycling 100 miles in just 13 hours.
  • Completing the WAAT4 challenge, a 30k trek over the Brecon Beacons mountain range, as the first wheelchair user ever to achieve this challenge later returning and becoming the first to then also complete it on crutches.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Jamie’s passion for advocacy has led him to share his story widely, inspiring audiences of all ages and backgrounds. His talks cover themes such as Mental health, neurodiversity, diversity, overcoming adversity, and goal-setting.
